Bunge covers agriculture from The Wall Street Journal’s Chicago bureau. He focuses on the intersection of Wall Street and the Farm Belt, including giants of U.S. food production like Monsanto, Cargill, Tyson Foods and DuPont, as well as developing technologies that promise to raise bigger crops and grow meat from animal cells in laboratories. Bunge joined Dow Jones in September 2008, initially covering the financial exchanges and electronic trading. He has written since 2001 about business and finance, ranging from restaurants to hedge funds. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and resides in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood.
